Late start to the day with an 11.45 kick off Chantal had been cooking up a storm and in the eye of that storm a game was about to commence!
Pyle low on travelling numbers turned up with 11 players so to have a proper game of it we gave them 4 players to have a proper game of it, first to go across was Hughesy Ashton Sion and Nathan.
The game started and before we could set up the camera to record we were 3 try's to the good 😬 it was already looking like it was going to be a very one sided game even with our helping with personnel Pyle couldn't get a foot hold in the game we were flying into rucks and securing every ball and some nice bit of inter play in our back line was carving holes in an already leaky defence. Just before half time we started to give away a few needless penalty's and walked ourselves back 40m an Pyle was able to see what our half looked like 🤦🏼♂️ Half time score 41-0
Second half juggle saw the newly turned back rower George Poole try his hand at 10 for Pyle with Archie at 12 and the physical forward duo of Jordy and Koby and eventually Sam in the blue and white playing for Pyle the story of the score line went a similar way second half although Pyle found a late surge after a mix up while setting up for kick off saw Sams kick off find a space which opened the door for koby to collect and score pyles first try in the corner. Pyle eventually brought us to a close with another try where they were able to get over the line with someone actually signed to Pyle with a bulldozing run but more of a confidence booster to go home with full time score at 69-10. 10 different try scorers today and plenty of praise from our opposition coaches who said "everyone of your players is a match winner"
Thank you to the whole team and especially the boys who went across and put in a great effort for Pyle
This weeks man of the match was George Poole who showed himself to be a great sportsman no matter the colour of the jersey or the position this weekend
